Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
Wird is built to be private. There's no account system, and we never collect your personal information or your reading. Almost everything stays on your device. The only things that ever leave it are anonymous and never identify you: crash diagnostics that help us fix problems, and, if you choose to answer one, a short survey. Both are described below.
What we store
Wird keeps your reading progress, streak, name, and preferences only on your device, using the operating system's local storage. This information is never uploaded, shared, or sold. We have no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers.
Notifications
If you turn on daily reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification is sent from a server, and no information about your reading leaves your phone to deliver them.
Diagnostics
If the app crashes, Wird may send an anonymous diagnostic report so the problem can be fixed: the error, your device model, and the OS and app version. It contains no name, no account, and nothing about what you read.
Surveys
From time to time, Wird may invite you to answer a short, anonymous survey. Taking part is entirely optional. If you choose to, only your answers are sent, together with a random identifier used solely to prevent duplicate responses. Your name, device, and reading history are never included. If you skip it, nothing is sent.
Tips (in-app purchases)
Wird offers optional tips to support development. Payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Wird never sees or stores your payment details, and tips collect no personal information.
Children
Wird is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Because Wird collects no data, we don't anticipate material changes.
